Privacy policy

We run an information website. We do not operate accounts, process payments or hold client funds, which means we collect very little — and this page explains exactly what that means in practice.

We are an independent information site. External links open third-party websites governed by their own privacy policies.

Who we are

buy-crypto.cards is an independent information and comparison website covering crypto cards and card-funded cryptocurrency purchases. We are not a bank, an electronic money institution, a card issuer, an exchange or a licensed financial adviser. You can reach us at contact@buy-crypto.cards.

What we collect

Nothing you type into a form, because we do not operate forms. There is no registration, no login, no newsletter signup and no payment processing on this site. We never ask for card numbers, seed phrases, private keys, passwords or two-factor codes, and any message claiming otherwise is not from us.

Technical data processed to deliver the site. As with any website, our hosting infrastructure processes information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the time of your request. This is necessary to serve pages, maintain security and diagnose faults.

Correspondence. If you email us, we hold your message and your email address for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of any correction made to the site as a result.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising cookies or build behavioural profiles for marketing. Where analytics are used, the purpose is to understand aggregate usage — which pages are read, which are not — rather than to identify individuals.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Nothing on this site requires cookies to function, so blocking them costs you no functionality.

External links

We link extensively to third parties: card providers, exchanges, card networks, financial regulators and tax authorities. We do this so you can verify claims at source, which is central to how we work.

Those websites are operated by other organisations with their own privacy policies and data practices. Once you follow a link, this policy no longer applies. All external links on this site carry rel="nofollow".

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, data protection law gives you rights over personal data relating to you: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EEA, your national data protection authority.

Because we hold very little personal data, most requests can be handled quickly. Email contact@buy-crypto.cards and tell us what you need.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. Data may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers strictly to deliver the website. Correspondence is retained for as long as it is useful to handle your query and maintain a record of site corrections, and is deleted on request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because we do not operate accounts or process payments, there is no customer database to compromise and no financial information held about you. If you want to understand how to protect accounts you hold with actual card providers, our security and custody guide is the relevant page.

Children

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information relating to them.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change — for example if we add a contact form or a newsletter — we will update this page before doing so. The version you are reading was last reviewed in September 2026.

Disclaimer

Nothing on buy-crypto.cards is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We publish research and comparisons based on primary sources, and card terms, fees, limits and availability change frequently. Always confirm current terms on the provider's own website and take advice appropriate to your own circumstances and jurisdiction. Our full approach is described on the rating method page.

Frequently asked questions

Does this site collect my personal data?
We do not operate accounts, forms or payment processing, so we do not collect names, addresses, card details or financial information. Like any website, our hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser information in order to deliver pages.
Do you use cookies?
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies for profiling. If any analytics or functional cookies are used, they are limited to understanding aggregate site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to anything on this site.
Do you share data with third parties?
We do not sell personal data. External links point to third-party websites whose own privacy policies apply once you leave our site — including card providers, exchanges, regulators and tax authorities.
What are my rights under GDPR?
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in respect of personal data we hold. Since we hold very little, most requests can be answered quickly. Contact us at contact@buy-crypto.cards.
How long do you keep email correspondence?
We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle your query and to keep a record of corrections made to the site. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.
